The homeowners’ small, U-shaped kitchen was washed out with outdated cabinets, white counter tops, and a white back splash. In this small kitchen renovation in Vancouver, our team added marble looking laminate counter tops and a grey subway tile back splash. To further revitalize the existing 1-toned colour scheme, we installed navy blue lower cabinets, and white shaker-style cabinets on top – all with updated chrome hardware. The upper cabinets were also extended all the way to the ceiling, to add extra storage space and create a streamlined look.
Our team also installed white floating shelves above the kitchen’s peninsula, so the family could display family photos, cookbooks, and trinkets. To create a space for family members and guests to socialize, the kitchen peninsula’s counter top was extended to make space for 3, modern bar stools.

Better Bathroom Storage: Small Bathroom Renovation Vancouver
The master bathroom was also in serious need of modernizing and organization. The old shower stall was remodeled with marble looking laminate and in shower, shelves were added so the homeowner’s shampoo was up off the floor. The new shower door has an industrial style track, adding style to this budget friendly renovation.
In this Vancouver small bathroom renovation, we replaced the existing, drop in sink with a new rectangular vessel sink. By relocating the sink to the corner, we made room for a spacious counter-to-ceiling height storage cabinet. To further help with the couple’s bathroom organization needs, we extended the dedicated alcove for 2 large laundry bins under the counter.
