Kitchen Townhouse Renovations Surrey
When you’re no longer in love with your kitchen or feel like it’s too outdated for your current taste, it doesn’t mean you have to move! To update the kitchen, all new Nickels cabinets were installed in a grey stain. We extended the cabinets to the ceiling for additional storage, to cover up the bulkhead, and provide a streamlined look. Ceramic Moroccan style tiles create the new backsplash and pair well with the new, easy to maintain quartz countertop.
The original kitchen island was small and not functional. To improve this, we designed the kitchen with a larger island, to accommodate more storage underneath, more cook space on top, and more comfortable seating for bar stools. To add some sparkle, we replaced the two pendant lights above the island with new diamond shaped fixtures.
One of the more unique features of this space is a sliding shelf in the corner of the kitchen. The homeowner can now tuck away large appliances and quickly slide them out when they’re ready to be used.

Modernizing Family Spaces
We created a more natural flow between the attached family room and dining areas by carrying the new wood floors and wall colour throughout the entire space and the stairwell.
In the family room we kept the existing fireplace but gave it a fresh look with a new coat of paint in the new colour scheme. The old lace curtains were removed from the windows leaving only the white slat blinds for a clean and modern look.
