The kitchen part of this renovation has the expanded kitchen become the hub of the home. Sleek white cabinetry and a ruby-red back-painted glass back splash — that’s the splash of bordeaux. We also changed the kitchen and dining room configuration, claiming some under-used space and removing an old island so the dining room could expand. With the kitchen’s new 9-foot central island and open dining area, the space comfortably seats 14.
We then added full-length glass doors from the dining room onto a new, large patio and outdoor space equipped with a barbecue area that allows for year-round grilling.
