This kitchen renovation in Ocean Park started by expanding the kitchen space into the existing, seldom-used patio. This conveniently improved the symmetry of the exterior, and the newly expanded inside allowed for built-in corner bench seating with storage.
In the kitchen, the open concept vision was achieved by opening up the kitchen to the dining room, and a large kitchen island was installed. This provided additional counter space for food prep, socialization, seating, and storage, and thus became an integral work-triangle.

The existing kitchen windows were enlarged to match size of the living room windows, adding more natural light into the kitchen. To further brighten the space, new interior colours harmonize with custom-painted, durable, quartz kitchen island, and the blue-glass backsplash perfectly complements the new colour scheme. When the owners need a touch of extra warmth, the built-in espresso machine will do the trick!
The engineered white-oak wood floors add visual and actual warmth to the home.
